i am so grateful that this mom-to-be was so generous in letting me bust out my

daughter’s crayola marker to write on her belly as an experiment.

my daughter has a tendency for leaving the caps off and

the only color that wasn’t all dried out

happens to be the belly owner’s favorite color.

it came out beautifully and even was requested for her baby shower invites.

thank you so much for such a positive response.

i am truly speechless and grateful for such

wonderful compliments.

sleepy baby allison.

she was so sweet and precious. allison looks so peaceful you would have never have thought

her big sister and brother were running laps around us.

i hope for mommy and daddy that she will always sleep this well!

i love music.

i’m always listening to something.

i seem to get asked a LOT why i don’t have music up on my site yet.

it was a deliberate choice NOT to have

music -and your ears can personally thank me.

i know music can evoke “the mood” or set the theme about an artists photography- but one thing that will totally offend my ears is

royalty free type music blasting through my computer

- especially if i am grooving to my own tunes coming out of the same speakers. no remix action please.

-but-

if i did have music to my website I would be jammin’ the

Plain White T’s, “Hey there delilah”…

it has nothing to do with portrait photography, but it’s melody is chill enough to hang with my site.

after scouring the web looking at all my photographer friend’s blogs, i realized one thing.

most have the same dorky first blog.

s’pose i should too- why reinvent the wheel right?
