Love the arrangement? The bride’s family ordered her flowers and put them together themselves! LOVE DIY!

It was love when Sarah and Scott told me they were doing “the first look”.  I’m a fan. It meant they got a beautiful moment to take it all in AND we had a fabulous time taking photos BEFORE the ceremony. It’s a WIN WIN in my book!

Really, a perfect ending to the perfect wedding.

When I first met Sarah and her mother I won’t lie… it was a little intimidating. You see, Sarah was in school majoring in photography, and well… mom IS a photographer. Later I find out her soon to be sis-in-law is a photographer as well! Comforting to work with like-minded folks, but it really means pressure is on! Sarah (and company) however were a DREAM to work with. Along with being a GORGEOUS bride, she is SO SWEET, calm, ORGANIZED (did I mentioned all the DIY aspects to her wedding?!?!), and probably my most laid back bride to date. Scott, you two are truly perfect for each other. Congrats friends! Bring on some babies! xo, r-l

Emily + Billy + Tripp | Family Session

Third time is a charm when it comes to this session. After a few rescheduled shoots due to crazy wind, there was a magical pocket of 4 hours that equalled winds of less than 10mph… and we took the weather up on that offer. As all sessions go with children under 4, our time was basically determined by Tripp and how fast his little feet would take him.

Rolita + David + Kyle + Sarah

 It had  been 3.5 years since I had seen Rolita, David, and the kids and I was so eager to see how grown up  Sarah and Kyle had become. In 2008 I photographed Kyle, a thomas the train loving toddler and his BABY sister Sarah who was just flirting with the idea of walking.

Now Kyle is into Star Wars (I pretended to know what characters he was talking about) and Sarah is the sweetest 4 year old girly-girl.

 A restaurant  family similar to my own, Rolita and David are the owners/ Executive Chef at Redfish Seafood Grill. I don’t know how they do it- but

with two successful restaurants and 2 amazing children they surely  win a trophy in my book!

I won’t lie- this is probably one of my favorite family sessions to date. At the same time- working with returning clients as well as “older kids” make things INFINITELY easier.
