    NOVEMBER 19th - HOLIDAY DEADLINE

    Wednesday, November 12th, 2008

It’s that time of year. Decisions to make, frames to purchase….

PLEASE- All print orders for Holiday gifts need to be placed (and payed for) no later than midnight November 19th.

The *only* clients this does not apply to are any of my November sessions. (You will have a separate deadline given to you when you receive your online gallery.)

All order are accepted at anytime afterwards, but anything after November 19th will not be guaranteed for Holiday Delivery and will most likely be delivered early 2009.

Gift Cards for Sessions and Print Credit are available to purchase HERE . Deadline for Gift Credit is December 10th. The certificate can either be gift packaged by me and sent to the lucky recipient, or can be sent to you for delivery.

Please contact me at 411@rebeccalinhrodgers.com if you have any questions.

If your online gallery has expired, please contact me and I will reactivate it.

    THANK YOU!

And what is a blog post without a photo…

This is where I spend most of my days:

    092208_0034.jpg

With the exception of my end of the year weddings, I have decided not to shoot in December. (The *only* exception will be for newborns 2 weeks and under)

I’d like to spend the least amount of time here in December. Please let that happen. Deadline on time. :) My girlies will thank you.

    Houston, TX- Family Session

I met Cyndy about a year ago at a Houston Baby Wearing Meeting. As I had thoughts on holding a baby wearing photo shoot I asked if I could snap some shots of her little man in his ring sling. So of course I was super thrilled to be hired as her family photographer a year later! THANKS! Taylor has grown up tons since the last time I had seen him! Total little man~ and quite adventurous this boy is. We hit up the Museum district and had fun getting kicked of “art work” and dodging the security guard on our heels. We’re dangerous and rebellious like that. ;)

Though little Taylors feet did not make a photo appearance this time- he is the owner of the famous little toes in the rainbow babylegs on my gallery. Don’t know what I am talking about? Hit refresh a few times and you will see them on my blog header :)

    picture-2.jpg

I actually drove by this wall earlier in the week and totally thought of Cyndy’s upcoming session. This wall is SO reminded me her. Apparently I thought right as she is known as the “hippie” at work. :D

    LOVE IT!( I love hippies!)

    aaaaand… want to mention:

if you are a Baby Wearing mom (or dad)in the Houston area, please stay tuned… another Baby Wearing photo shoot(s) is in the works before it gets too hot!

If you would like to be on the e-mail list please contact me at 411@rebeccalinhrodgers.com and enter: “HBW photoshoot” as the subject line. -or- contact me via my contact form on my main website. Please enter the same “HBW photoshoot” in the message area as well as your general area in Houston.

Because Houston is so big, and well- I totally know what it like to travel with little ones so I will be doing a few shoots in various locations throughout Houston.

    Stay tuuuuned!

    Houston, Texas – Newborn Session

This little guy kept me on the edge of my seat… for a week!! Little Taison Khai was just hanging out after his due day while we just waited (and waited) for his arrival. I was so excited to one of the first to know of his debut into this world… I was alerted via text message, “ Showtime!…”
Taison is the youngest baby (besides my own) to work with. At only 3 days young he was quite ready for his close-up!

This is not the first time to photograph this lovely family—

You met daddy and new big sis Trinhity during one of my baby wearing photo shoots, and then the whole family a couple month ago for a family session.

More to come so please stay tuned….

*and I am reeeeaaally hoping this will be the last post on this blog!*

For just relaunching my website in August- it has been a whirlwind! This year I enjoyed learning so much more about photography, embracing color, and becoming friends with some of the best photographers in the nation! This new year I can’t wait to dive into wedding photography, meet new families, share photographs of my own crazy life, and anxiously wait for these bellies to turn into newborns! I am just so truly flattered and appreciative of all you who follow my blog, comment, send such thoughtful messages, and have overall embraced my hard work! THANK YOU! This last year and mean amazing, and I look forward to sharing my photography with you in 2008. Cheers!

    And by request-

    Last but not least:

:D Happy New Years from Mike and I  :D

Baby aidan- such a serious little fellow. He carefully analyzed my every movement and was so calm and as cool as a cucumber.

This is the second time I have had the pleasure photographing he and his beautiful mother Devin. The two can be seen modeling the colorful Comfy Joey Carrier Bags.

Baby Katherine… I was warned by a friend ahead of time how bubbly and smiley this little girl was. All that, and then some.

Katherine was such a treat- just give her a little wink and she in return does a fully body smile! I certainly would be smiling if I came close to the stash of slings, wraps, and her carriers her mom had. And who toted them all around??— her daddy of course. (Good man!)

    little trinhity

    Wednesday, October 17th, 2007

Little Trinhity, 2 years old, riding around in her exclusive “daddy-made” ring sling.

    bc_02.jpg

    Trinhity,was shy at first…

    bc_03bw.jpg

gave me a once over …

    bc_05.jpg

and then was nothing but smiles for the rest of the photo shoot.

    bc_06.jpg

Trinhity has the most amazing hazely brown eyes that perfectly contrast to her cocoa buttery soft skin.

So sweet, quiet, and easy going- You can just tell how smart this little girl is by looking at her. This makes perfect sense as her parents are some of the most intelligent people I know! ;)

I actually met Trinhity’s dad Brian at a neighbor’s birthday. We found it interesting that both of our families had moved to Houston from San Jose… small world… and then commiserated on the differences. I say this in all good fun to you Houstonians… but moving to Texas from California definitely requires some a lot of adjustment time! :)

A few days later, I had the pleasure of meeting Huong (the domestic goddess of their household ;) ) as our daughters are enrolled at the same gymnastics gym at the same day and time. Not sure if the world could get any smaller, but it was for sure a sign that I was introduced to this fantastic family of three (soon to be four) for a reason!

Mommy will be making a belly debut soon- so stay posted!

I have been playing catch up these past couple days! What I tease I was when I first posted that there was more to come from little Lauren… it was sure worth the wait! Lauren is such a gorgeous and beautiful little girl~ but it is now wonder when you get a glimpse of her stunning mother! Miss Lauren was so busy moving about, climbing, and exploring- but welcomed a little rest in her luxurious array of carriers. These two were such a treat to meet and photograph.

You may recognize the dynamic duo in the post below. A photo from this shoot that was posted earlier was asked to be featured for the Houston Baby Wearers. :)

    check me out…
