 i’m so excited to finally post this bridal session! tiffany is one of my AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS june brides and well- proof is in the photos– she’s just stunning. can’t wait to share her wedding images!! (click HERE if you’d like a refresher of her engagement photos w/ groom matt)

the DRESS. it’s ridiculous. it’s wow. it’s beyond stunning. add tiffany to the mix and well, it sure does make taking photos SO much fun to do. (never mind the houston heat we endured while taking these).

 carmen from casa de novia bridal couture was a huge help to make sure the dress was placed perfectly (and safe from grubby photographer hands) during our session. thanks carmen!

jean was married yesterday to her love tyler in galveston, texas. they’ve been planning their wedding from philadelphia, so the first time i got to meet jean was at her bridals. she and tyler met each other while attending rice university both studying to be architects.  so what better place to have her bridal session at rice university.

jeans veil has an awesome history. it was made of belgium lace and is a heirloom in her family. they veil was first worn by her mother’s cousin in 1960 at the very church tyler and jean got married in. this veil has been worn by her mother, as well as countless relatives, and recently her cousins and now jean. how cool is that?

this is teal. and i LOVE her name. and her eyes. (and how lucky to have have unique beautiful eyes and a unique beautiful name…. hmmm.. kinda reminds me of a girl name jade i know. )

teal contacted me waaaay last year to do her bridal session and i am so excited to be a part of her wedding in some sort. she’s been planning her houston wedding from connecticut, and all i can say is GIRL– you are SO organized! (it’s admirable!)

congrats on your wedding this weekend. teal and her husband jeff were married saturday, may 22!! you are a STUNNING bride! i’ve been dying to share these since we took them!

 sorry friends. i’ve been a bad blogger lately. sometimes every minute of every day gets consumed with all things “to do” whether it be business or life — and the  first place to get neglected is my little internet apartment.  (and my laundry ).

a long overdue wedding feature of one of my favorite couples of 2009 - becky and toby! you’ve seen this fun couple for their  engagement session  late last summer and becky’s smoking hot bridal session last fall. their wedding was held at paraiso maravilla,  a very romantic venue here in houston, and their wedding was gorgeous! special thanks to my right hand gal janica boles for her assistance for the evening.

christi wanted to do a “day after” session as well as bridals. we made it happen. and you know what? i think the idea is GENIUS. bridals *after* the wedding. you (BRIDES) don’t have to worry about getting your dress dirty which = WAY MORE FUN + MORE FUN LOCATIONS (since funner isn’t really a word but would be more funner to say).

traditional doesn’t have to be blah or boring. (ps. christi– you’re hot!)

seriously? the hardest part about this session was narrowing down the images to not too many to hand over! christi, josh, mrs. gilbert, and i had FUN as we stomped around richmond (were Christi grew up) for the “day after” session. and when i say “day after” i don’t really mean the day right after the wedding. usually my couples tend to opt for a few weeks after their wedding once they’ve enjoyed their honeymoon and settled. i guess it could be called the “newlywed” session- but, eh, pretending it’s like the day after your wedding to get some fun/amazing photos while you are in your wedding attire (minus the crazy time lines that we call our wedding) makes for such a fun photo session. seriously. i still have to say these hands down are my favorite sessions to shoot!
